Panchakarma is a Bio-Cleansing therapy under the Samshodhana Chikitsa, aiding benefits that are permanent and long-lasting. Panchakarma works from within to detoxify our body which results in a complete cleansing of our body.

Ama, i.e., toxins are the cause of all diseases in a human body; if we could restrict Ama, we can ensure our bodies are healthy and prevent any disease. An Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment works best when the patient’s lifestyle is altered to fit into the needs of the treatment.

Treatment Process

Panchakarma is a five-step process, but before that, two separate processes are conducted to prepare and purify the body for the five-step process. Snehan, an oil massage therapy, is done to push the toxins to the gastrointestinal tract, followed by Svedana, a sweating therapy. After this two-step process, the five-step process is conducted, these are:

Virechana – Bowel cleansing is done to remove toxins, really good for jaundice and hemorrhoids.

Basti – Treatment of piles, constipation, and arthritis is treated with the help of Basti. The treatment differs according to patients and makes use of oils, ghee, and milk.

Nasya – Breathing or head-related areas are treated in Nasya. > Raktamokshan – Toxins from blood are purified from all kinds of toxins. The results in a healthy blood system.
