7 Ways to Get Free Money with Little to No Effort

Share

Some people find it weird that there’s a post about “free money”. I mean, it sounds too good to be true. Money doesn’t fall randomly off the sky.

Although, you may be used to getting money out of pure hard work, like when you’re working in a 9-5 job, or doing hard labor. There are truly legitimate ways to get “free money”… or money that you don’t need to work so hard for.

Some of the examples are companies willing to offer up to $45 per survey just to get your feedback on a certain product. So, it’s definitely not impossible.

Here are some ways that you can get free money with little to no effort.

Refer friends and acquaintances to your job

Sometimes, most employers don’t have much access to people who are qualified to the roles they need.  And let’s face it, having quality employees will help your company run and expand. It’s not always easy to get the word out and hire enough people.

That’s why companies are willing to give out referral bonuses as much as half your regular salary to employees who brought in a successful referral.

If you’re working with a company , and they offer referral bonuses (like most do), then getting “free money” can be as easy as talking to an acquaintance or friend who’s looking for a job.

Connect companies to a freelancer

The freelance market is booming. There are more than 150 million companies internationally. The problem is, companies hardly ever connect to the right talents. If you have some of these businesses in your circle of network, try to refer them to a freelancer or agency that you know, and get a referral percentage.

If you’re an expert, create an info product on the subject

Okay, so far, you’ve accumulated some skills during a couple of years in your professional career. You might have a PhD and years of experience under your belt with your degree. Or you might be doing what you love for years, whether it’s travelling, dancing, singing, living in a country, or being a mom.

Because you love it, know that a couple of people around the world are still starting the very same journey. They would love some references. People would buy a book, purchase a course, refer to a blog and watch a YouTube channel to get the information they need.

If you love to write, you can try sharing your expertise on blogs. You can monetize the blog by putting ads, including affiliate links in your content and selling digital products. The same goes with YouTube channels.

Play video games and stream

If you love playing video games, you can stream your gameplay in real-time for the world to see. You can stream on Twitch and YouTube Gaming. There are two ways that you can monetize this. First, you can build a large audience in which you monetize with ads. Second, you can have a loyal audience in which you can monetize through donations and subscriptions.

The money does not come instantly. But it’s easy money especially if you spend most of the time playing games. Might as well monetize. All you need is some popular games, decent computers and a software for streaming. Overtime, you’ll start earning money doing something you enjoy doing.

Save your money in a savings account with high interests

According to financial site Cashmart, banks can pay you interest on the money you save aside from keeping your money safe. Although it’s difficult to get a lot of interest in a Traditional bank, being a valued member by accumulating a large amount of savings will  qualify you for a bigger interest rate.

Sell old things like books and clothes

Rather than tossing your old stuff, sell them. Sell all the things that don’t spark joy. Most people have so many things they don’t need, and I bet you do too. Download a selling app like Mercari or go to a thrift store and put your stuff for sale from books to old clothes.

Once sold, you’ll have easy money out of something that didn’t spark joy. Now, you can use that money for things that truly matter for you.

Sell your photography to the web

If you like taking pictures, then this is the easiest way for you to earn money. Sell them as stock photos. Businesses have been putting a lot of content lately namely blogs, newsletters and advertisement. Because of this, the demand for stock photography grew. Hence, try selling your photographs through third-party microstock websites like Flickr, Shutterstock and iStockPhoto.

Bottomline

There are endless ways that you can earn money with little to no effort. Especially if you love what you do.
