Google Keyword Planner is a great resource, as it allows you to type in your keywords and see how popular they are on the internet. You should probably consider reaching out to a professional marketer to help you with this research. Once you know what keywords to target, reach out to a company that specializes in SEO and link-building.

4. Bulk Mailing To Save On Postage

If your Etsy is getting busy and you find yourself taking tons of trips to the post office, expensive postage can really eat into your profits. Fortunately, the post office offers bulk deals to frequent mailers. You can prepay for a permit, which will allow you to mail your product at a discount price. You just have to mail a minimum number of packages, which the post office details on their website.

5. Invest Some Profit In Marketing

Now that your Etsy is making some real money, a good strategy is to take some of that profit and re-invest it into marketing. There are many ways to do this, the easiest of which is to use Etsy promoted listings. You decide how much you want to invest per day, and your listings are bumped up higher in people’s searches. Google ads works in the same way, and is a great tool if many of your customers find you through Google. You may even end up hiring a social media manager to help spread your shop around the internet.

As your shop grows, you will face interesting new challenges, and never shy away from research and asking for help. In time, with the right tools, your shop can become a massive success.
