National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad

Established in 1961, the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad is one of the pioneers of design courses in India. Getting admission into the institute requires students to pass the entrance exam for NID. The institute offers both post-graduation and graduation programs and anyone with a 10+2 degree fan apply for the UG certification or someone with a degree in design can continue their post-graduation here. 

Industrial Design Center, Mumbai

One of the best design institutes in India, the Industrial design center also call as IDC IITB was brought into existence in 1969. A certificate from an institute like this opens great opportunities for your future. Textile companies welcome a degree from IDC IITB. But to get in, you need to pass the entrance exam and interview. You should be 12th pass from a recognized institute. 

National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai

It is also the reason why getting into NIFT requires you to clear at least 2 exams including, the CAT and GAT exams.
