Recruitment of Engineers/ Officers in IOCL

Every year, the corporation releases vacancies for engineers of various branches. You need to get a good score in GATE as for some posts the recruitment is based on the GATE exam. Don’t worry if your score is not good as for some posts separate exam is conducted. The various posts available are Jr. Engineer Assistant, Assistant Officer (Quality Control), Graduate Engineers for recruitment as Engineers/Officers and Post Graduate Engineers for recruitment as Research Officers in Research & Development Centre.

The age of candidates belonging to the general category should not be more than 28 years and the minimum age limit is 18 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit. For the post of Graduate Engineer candidates must have B.E/ B.Tech degree in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Chemical/ Electronics/ Metallurgical/ Petrochemical Engineering from a AICTE approved university. For applying Post Graduate Engineers as Research Officers in Research & Development Centre one must have a Master’s Degree. Candidates must have completed a diploma in the discipline of Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics Engineering for Jr. Engineer Assistant post.

Trade/ Technician Apprentice Recruitment

IOCL invites applications for the Post of Technician (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil) & Trade (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist) Apprentice. For submitting an application, the required age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum of 24 years. It is important to have an ITI diploma after 10th standard to apply for the vacancy of Trade/ Technician Apprentice. Selection is based on merit.
